5FY warranty extension programme

Extend the protection of your SUEX DPV up to the 5th year

SUEX warranty timeline: 2 years of standard warranty plus 3 years of extension with the 5FY programme, up to 5 years

Warranty extension

The 5FY warranty extension programme lets private owners of a SUEX DPV/scooter obtain extended cover year after year, provided the product is correctly registered and given the servicing the programme requires.

To keep the extension valid, servicing must be carried out at an authorised 5FY Service Center and recorded properly through the online service booklet.

Who can join?

The programme is reserved for owners of SUEX DPVs/scooters who bought the product as private individuals and not as a business. The extension does not apply to companies, self-employed professionals or anyone using the DPV for professional work.

Which products is it valid for?

The programme applies only to SUEX DPVs/scooters that are:

  • intended for private, non-professional use;
  • correctly registered in the SUEX reserved area;
  • given the mandatory servicing required by the 5FY programme.

What does the warranty extension cover?

The programme covers product defects relating to:

  • plastic and aluminium tubes, excluding damage from impacts, scratches or improper use;
  • the Prop Lock propeller knob;
  • the motor;
  • the electronics, batteries excluded.

Batteries are not covered by the warranty extension programme.

How to join the programme

  1. User registration
    The owner must register as a user in the SUEX reserved area.

  2. Product registration
    After registering as a user, you need to register your DPV/scooter by entering the serial number and attaching the original purchase document, which must show the serial number. Activating the warranty is subject to SUEX checking that the details entered are valid and correct.

  3. Mandatory servicing
    To obtain the warranty extension, the product must be given the servicing required by the 5FY programme by the stated deadlines. Servicing must be carried out only at an authorised 5FY Service Center.

Important note

Access to the 5FY programme depends on registering the product correctly, on SUEX verifying the details and on having the mandatory servicing carried out by the set deadlines. Failing to meet the conditions of the programme means losing the right to the warranty extension.
